Premium Shipping

To maintain your eligibility for Premium Shipping you must meet the following requirements on your Premium Shipping orders for 30 days:

  • Valid tracking rate of 94% or greater
  • On-time delivery rate of 96% or greater
  • Seller-initiated cancel rate of less than 1.2%
  • A minimum order threshold of at least 10 orders across all shipping options.

If your performance records fall below these requirements, buyers will not have access to your Premium Shipping delivery options.

Note: There is a lag of ten days in getting carrier data. Hence, we will measure your performance from the previous 10 to 40 days.

One-Day Delivery

One-Day Delivery will show an Expected Delivery Date that is one or two business days after the date of order, regardless of your specified handling time. Orders that you receive Monday-Friday before 2:00 pm (time zone of your Default shipping address), will show an Expected Delivery Date that is one business day after the order date. Orders that you receive after 2:00 pm (time zone of your Default shipping address) on a business day, or on a weekend or holiday, will show an Expected Delivery Date that is two business days after the date of order.

Two-Day Delivery

Two-Day Delivery will show an Expected Delivery Date that is two or three business days after the order date. Orders that you receive Monday-Friday before 2:00 pm (time zone of your Default shipping address), will show an Expected Delivery Date that is two business days after the order date. Orders that you receive after 2:00 pm (time zone of your Default shipping address) on a business day, or on a weekend or holiday, will show an Expected Delivery Date that is three business days after the order date.

In both cases, One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery, your carrier should deliver the package to the buyer on or before the Expected Delivery Date.

Participation eligibility

You can always set up One-Day and Two-Day Delivery, but they will come into effect and buyers will be able to see them only if your performance metrics are in line with the Premium Shipping requirements.

Set up One-Day Delivery, and/or Set up Two-Day Delivery in your shipping templates.

Once you set up Premium Shipping options, Amazon will determine your ongoing eligibility by your delivery performance. Refer to your Premium Shipping Eligibility dashboard to track eligibility.

To maintain eligibility for Premium Shipping, you must continue to meet or exceed the Premium Shipping eligibility requirements.

Eligibility revocation

If any of your performance metrics fall below the established thresholds for Premium Shipping, Amazon will revoke your eligibility and buyers will not be able to see these delivery options. This is measured on a rolling monthly basis.

Premium Shipping eligibility restoration

Once you improve your performance metrics, the One-Day Delivery and Two-Day Delivery will be offered to buyers again.

Order Cutoff Times

The order cutoff times for your Premium Shipping options orders is 2:00 pm (time zone of your Default shipping address) by default.
