The late shipment rate (LSR) represents orders that have been ship-confirmed after the expected ship date as a percentage of total orders over both a 10-day or a 30-day period. The late shipment rate only applies to seller-fulfilled orders. You can find the expected ship date on the Manage orders and Order details pages.
It is important to confirm the shipment of orders by the expected ship date so that customers can see the status of their shipped orders online. Orders that are ship-confirmed late can negatively affect the customer experience and lead to increased A-to-z claims, negative feedback and/or customer contacts.
Orders should be shipped within 1-2 days unless you have specified a different handling time. For more information, go to Modify handling time.
Our policy is that sellers should maintain a late shipment rate under 4% to sell on Amazon. A late shipment rate above 4% may result in deactivation of seller-fulfilled offers.
