Certain products cannot be listed or sold on Amazon. Some products may not be listed as a matter of compliance with legal or regulatory restrictions (for example, illegal drugs) or per Amazon policy (for example, crime scene photos). For more information and examples, see Restricted products and Listings Restrictions.
For some products or product categories, sellers may not be able to create product listings without prior approval from Amazon.
Amazon’s policies also prohibit specific types of content from being included in listings (for example, obscene content).
Help sections provide examples and other guidance on products that may be permitted for listing. Identifying a product as permitted is for guidance only and does not mean that all sellers will be able to list those products at all times or in all circumstances. For example, not all permitted products may be within scope for Amazon.com.au at launch.
