Create, edit, or delete shipping templates

Shipping templates let you create your shipping settings across several products at once (ship-from address, default service levels, shipping regions, transit times, and shipping rates). You can create up to 20 shipping templates for specific groups of SKUs.

The shipping template determines the ship-from address for the products associated with the template. Amazon will use this information to determine whether GST is payable on products you sell on Amazon.com.au that have a customs value of $1000 AU or less and that you ship from overseas to customers in Australia.

Important: It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the ship-from addresses included in your shipping templates and the listings associated with each shipping template. You are responsible for checking that the information migrated to your shipping templates is accurate at all times, and for addressing any inaccuracies. Failure to provide accurate information about your ship-from address and in your shipping templates may result in Amazon incorrectly calculating the GST payable and result in breaches of the GST law. Misrepresenting your ship-from address may also have other consequences and result in action being taken by Amazon on your account, including termination of your seller account.

Before you create a template, verify that you have added the necessary ship-from addresses in General shipping settings and make sure you understand the requirements.

There are two types of shipping templates available: manual settings (available for all ship-from addresses) and automated settings (only available for ship-from addresses based in Australia).

Sellers shipping from Australia with Shipping Setting Automation by default can revert to manual shipping templates using the instructions below.
