Bank account information

You must specify a bank account to receive payments.

Before you add a bank account, you must have a business address associated with your seller account. Learn more about how to add a business address.

Note: Transfers of funds cannot be made to your credit card or online payment systems, such as PayPal. You must provide a bank account to receive funds.
Note: There is a mandatory 3-day security hold before any changes to bank account information can take effect. Transfers of funds cannot be initiated until after the hold period, which begins on the date you provide your bank account information.

Overview

Amazon Payments disburses the funds in your Selling on Amazon payment account to your bank account by electronic transfer.

When you sell in more than one Amazon marketplace, you must enter or select a bank account for each marketplace separately.

Note: You may only receive payment to a bank account in a country and currency supported by Amazon. The countries here are the ones currently supported.

The details for that bank account will appear on your Global Bank Account Information page. You may also use this bank account as the deposit method for other Amazon marketplaces; however, it cannot be used as your charge method for these marketplaces.

Required Bank Account Information

To add or edit your bank account information, complete the following steps:


  1. From your account, select Settings, then select Account Info.
  2. On the Seller Account Information page, go to the Payment Information, section and select Bank Account information.
  3. Click Edit. The Global Bank Account Information page appears. If you provided your bank account information when you registered to sell on one of the Amazon marketplaces, that information will appear on the page.
  4. If you already entered a bank account for any Amazon marketplace, indicate whether you will use your existing bank account or a new bank account.
  5. To enter a new bank account, select the country of your bank account from the drop-down box next to "Bank Location Country" and enter your bank account information.
  6. When you're ready, click the Submit.

The "Global Bank Account Information" page in the Deposit Method section of your seller account allows you to enter information for a bank account in a country supported by Amazon. The information you will be required to provide depends on the option you select from the "Bank Location Country" drop-down menu.
